Dinsdag:
Met ontbyt het ek die 'cold' bfast vir hulle gevat.. en daarna die 'hot' bfast aan hulle voorgelê, en die bestelling geneem...

NA dit als het ek opgeruim, skoongemaak, afgedek en skottelgoed gewas...

Deurdie loop van die dag het ek die 'dry' store oor en reg gepak...
En het drankie bestellings gevat by my gaste,,,!

Het my Student-duty nagekom! dis waar ek afmerk wie eet en nie... KONTROLE!!!

My new coarse is SSB a.k.a Laundry...

It's were we work with the laundry and chalets.

Cleaning, dusting, sweeping and mopping is some of the chores to be done...

Laundry and Collections

We collected the laundry bags from all the chalets and delivered them to the laundry service.

We also collected the rubbish bags.

Chalets and Office

We dusted and spring cleaned a chalet.

We cleaned the office and bleached clothes.

6 April 2011

Assessed and Laundry 

Armand and Jako was assessed by City and Guilts.

We cleaned the laundry, did the washing and then tumble dried the washing.

Paperwork and Store

We had to do the paperwork on breakage and usage of the chalets.

Then I had to file all the papers in the correct date and file.

Made the stater packs for Makhato chalets.

30 March 2011 FIRE DRILL !!

FIRE DRILL !!!!

Voor die aanvangs van die gebeure het ons UNIT STANDARD vorms ontvang van Cobus Spies.

Hy het die hele prosedure aan ons verduidelik en die SAQA vorm saam ons deur gegaan.

By Maintenance het Christine, Heino en Sieg aan ons die toerusting en kleredrag verduidelik.

-Fire hemp

-Overall

-Boots

-Masker

-Safety Helmet

Christine het aan ons die klere prosedure deur gegaan.

Daar is 3 brandvoertuie. Een se naam is Die Buffel- hy ry deur en oor enigiets.

Sieg het aan ons die rugsakspuit en plak verduidelik en geillustreer.

Heino het die fire machine aan ons verduidelik.

‘N paar belangrike punte:

• Where do you spray the water
• 30 sec to get dressed
• Water buckets used last
• Get warm very quickly
• Fire gets closer, drop bucket and run
• Machines go out first
• Right uniform!!!!!
• Raw call must be done
• First aid with Christine

GET ON FIRE TRUCK:

1. Hold on tight
2. Vehicle stop nearby fire, jump off get hosepipe and spray!!!
3. 1 Person needs to stay near truck and look around for incoming fires from tj=he back or around.
4. Make sure you can see you team.
5. You can’t hear properly so give hand signs or tap (hard) on shoulder.

If you have the hosepipe in hand – pull hard to warn the person in front.

WOW I never thought it is so important to know how a fire drill works untill now!
