28 October 2011 (07:00 - 17:00)

FrIdaY

Came in at 07:00 had breakfast for room 3...
After breakfast they checked out...

Did room checks for the incoming guests.

I checked room 2 in, explained everything to them and told them more about the Meat fest.
Altina made the snack and gave them a hand massage and I made the drink..

We phoned the guests and asked them what time they coming and if they would like to eat with us the evening or @ Meat lovers fest...  

All of the guests decided the Meat fest sounds delightful, and went there.
Me and Altina went and set up for them @ Picicnini's!!

thursday

Had breakfast, we put out buffet for the guest.

Took their drink and food order, waiter for them, and cleaned up after wards.

We did the issuing of all the rooms,
soaps
coffee's
tea's
and amenities.

Helped with the check outs...


Did so theory as well.
Module 11 : Provide a counter service.

Wednesday
We had 4 check ins.

Rooms:
Did room checks, refill amenities and filled up the coffee station.
With the check ins, we phoned the guest and asked what time they would be here.
We went down to the parking area to get the guest, carried their luggage en did the administration.

Made them a welcoming drink and snack, they went to sit on patio and I gave them a hand massage.

The rest of the guests came and I did the same..

The evening everyone ate here so we set up for dinner!
including Neville and friends were here. They relaxed in the cellar with finger snacks and drinks. (cocktail snacks)

Did the valets..

Cleaned and set up for breakfast!

25 October 2011 (14:00 - 22:30)

Tuesday

It was a busy day with all the ECB ladies.
They were here to experience our 5* Country House, so that they can advertise our place and tell the people how it was and to convince them to come. What I think is a good thing!

During the day the walked around and spend some time in the pool!
Me and Shiela went to get their drink orders and took it for them..

For dinner we set up a table of 10 for them in the dinning room.
(table cloths, steamed it, cutlery, crockery  and napkins) 
The chef went and gave them a presentation of 3 coarse meal.

Everybody decided what they want and Chané wrote the orders down..
Meanwhile we had another check in- joining guests.
I gave them their welcoming drink and snack and massage their hands.
Everybody went and relaxed on the patio. 

At 19:30 everyone joined the dinner table and we refilled their drinks.

We took the starter out and everyone was very pleased with their food.

Cleared

Main Coarse went out, some had Lamb some had chicken and the other had pork!
They were very surprised when we came out with the silver closures on the plate.
I polished it just before it went out !!!
We took it of and all that you saw were smiling faces...

We took out the desserts - Soufflé...

Cleared

I did the Valets while they were eating...

After they ate, they all went on the patio and relaxed.

When they all went to bed we set up for breakfast for the next morning!

Monday

I came in at 14:00.
We had one check in, when he came I followed the Concierge procedures, where I showed him where to park, welcomed him guest in the parking-lot, and carry his luggage.. 
With the check in we explained how the night's dinner is going to work and the breakfast and that there is a coffee-station in the room and we put milk in at night.

The guest went to have Monday night Buffet at Piccinini's. While he was there I cleaned in the guesthouse...


And did the Valet. It's were I open his bed and put a chocolate in the pillow..
Cleaned the bathroom and refresh is as well !

The Suprize....

Part of the turn down...
You get a gown that we fold nicely and place it on your bed...

Me starting: take all the pillows of the bed
and open the one side..

Then fold the flat sheet the same way on top of the duvet...

Put the pillows back in a position so that you can just go lay down...

Then do the same on the other side of the bed!!!

Fold it nicely again...

Place the pillows...

Place the chocolate in the middle of the pillow on both sides...

Whoila...
There is your bed open and with a sweet-thing...

That's what a turn-down is..
But I call it 'The suprize'

PASELLA

What a hectic few days...
We ran around like off head chickens... To get everything 100% for them!!

Monday:
Started with luch for Pasella, Mel and Ian...
Cleaned, take plates away and waiter...

Got clean laundry and started to set up for Dinner...
Placed the tables and steamed the table cloths...

When Mel, Ian and his wife Leina arrived we took their drink orders, when the other guests arrived we did the same and treat them with a handmassage ..

The chefs came and presented their menu for the night, we took the food order aswell.
They went inside and sit at the dinner table, we refill their drinks, and take the starters out... And starter NR#2??!!
Sorbet..
Main...
They went down to the wine cellar and enjoyed their dessert there.!

When they were done, we went and clean, and set up breakfast for the following day...

Tuesday:
Started with lunch: cleared and wash dishes..
Did the check-out/bill for the Pasella!


* Had a new check-in, did the check-in...
Got them their welcome drink and snack, Shiela gave them their handmassage.

Took their bags to their room, Set up dinner in their room... -Waier/take food and drink orders...

Did the turndowns in room 1, 2, 4, 5, & 6 !
-Bed
-Milk
-Chocolate
-Bathrooms

/cleaned/cleared/wash dishes/& kitchen...

Wednessday:
Set up for dinner - table of 6...

Waiter/took food and drink orders...

/cleaned/cleared/dishes...

Did the breakfast set up for the next day with Chané...

Friday:
Had breakfast - table of 2 & 5..
Food and drink orders,.,.

* Cleaned, cleared and washed dishes...
* Refill all the amenities in all the rooms
* Issued the coffee's and tea's FOR ALL THE ROOMS.

Polished all the closures, ice buckets and the stands...

With the check in I made the welcome drinks and snacks...

Meatlover feast:
Set up inside Piccinini's for the guesthouse people...

> 28 small fork
> 14 big fork and knife/dessert spoons

24/25 September 2011(06:00-----)

Breakfast Set up:
worked at breakfast, take food and drink orders.
SHOWED them the cold buffet and they went and dish up...
-muesli
-yogurt
-all brand
-cheese platter
-cold meat platter
-seeds
-muffins
-bread...
When they were done I explained the hot breakfast to them...

After all the commotion I cleared and cleaned,,, washed dishes etc...

Meatloversfeast:
Set up a table for : 6, 2 & 2.

Worked there the night, the guests were really friendly and liked to make jokes , when your guest are comfortable you are comfortable !!!!

Back at guesthouse they chilled in the launch and had some Milo...

There were guests in the wine cellar so I cleaned there...

Shiela set up FOR BREAKFAST...

Breakfast:
Waiter at breakfast, took drink orders and their hot breakfast order !
After wards I clean and clear the area, washed all the dishes and did the issues fir the day 

Room checks : refill the amenities in all the rooms and replaced the soaps if needed!

 Lunch: Did the lunch set up and waiter !
